U.S. Marines and Sailors stationed on Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma participate in "Operation Backbone" in Yuma, Arizona, Oct. 25, 2019. Operation Backbone helps to strengthen the warrior spirit in non-commissioned officers (NCOs) and promote cohesion between the different units of MCAS Yuma. The exercise consisted of a five and a half mile hike with the Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron (H&HS) commanding officer and sergeant major, several classes, and a warriors night dinner.
