Chief Warrant Officer 5 William L. Harshaw, senior Human Resources
technician, U.S. Army Reserve, G-1, offers career advice during a brief for
warrant officers and noncommissioned officers seeking to transition to the
Warrant Officer Corps. Harshaw came in from Fort Bragg, N.C., and told
Soldiers that he has actually extended his career due to his passion for
ensuring quality Soldiers can carry on the mission after he and his peers
retire. Approximately 130 Soldiers participated in the 81st Readiness
Division's Warrant Officer Training and Recruiting Workshop on Saturday
October 26. The event offered a networking opportunity and delivered an
abundance of wide ranging information for those in attendance. (U.S. Army
