Lt. Nathan Hathaway, assigned to the "Blackhawks" of Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron (HM) 15, surveys a map of the Nicaragua shoreline while conducting a visual inspection and documenting the damage that resulted from Hurricane Felix in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua, Sept. 6. HM-15 is assigned to the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), which has been diverted by U.S. Southern Command from the international maritime exercise in Panama to the coast of Nicaragua to assist with disaster relief efforts in areas affected by Hurricane Felix.
