CLINTON NATIONAL AIRPORT, Little Rock, Ark. - Cpl. Jerry Garrision was killed in action in the Korean War. In 2018, several boxes of Soldiers remains which were were returned to the United States by the Peoples Republic of North Korea. The Department of Defense was able through DNA testing and analysis, to positively identify the remains as those of Cpl. Jerry Garrision. On October 19th, 2019, Cpl. Jerry Garrision's remains arrived home to a repatriation ceremony which will be followed by a funeral near his home in Russellville, Arkansas. Cpl. Garrision was recieved by his surviving family, his sister Alice Pearson and her sons, Jack and James, as well as by the Adjutant General and command team of Arkansas National Guard.
