U.S. Marine Sgt. Tre Davis works out at a portable high intensity tactical training gym during exercise KAMANDAG 3 at Subic Bay, Philippines, Oct. 18, 2019. The U.S. is proud to participate in this Philippine-led, bilateral exercise in order to develop capabilities across a wide range of military operations. Davis, a native of Mustang, Okla., is a field radio operator with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 172. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Manirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnership between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
