U.S. Navy Lt. Markquis Jones plays a game of darts during exercise KAMANDAG 3 at Subic Bay, Philippines, Oct. 18, 2019. Jones, a native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is a chaplain with Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 36. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Manirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnership between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
