U.S. Navy Hospitalmen with Division Schools, Headquarters Battalion, First Marine Division and various units within Second Marine Division (2d MARDIV) conduct a whole-blood transfusion practical application at Camp Wilson, Marine Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Oct. 16, 2019. The goal of the training was to elevate the standards of skill and competency among all three Marine Expeditionary Forces. The hospitalmen will implement whole-blood transfusions on simulated casualties during the MAGTF Warfighting Exercise (MWX) 1-20, scheduled to take place from mid-October through early November.
