EcoGuards converge at Lope National Park, Gabon, Africa, to practice Tactical Combat Casualty Care July 22, 2019. In conjunction with the Department of State, U.S. Army Africa, and U.S. Africa Command, the 324 Civil Affairs Team has partnered with EcoGuard park rangers of Gabon's national park agency to create the country's first EcoGuard Instructor Training Academy. The training academy develops a core group of park ranger instructors who will train their EcoGuard peers and increase the organization's ability to conduct counter poaching and counter illicit trafficking patrols.
