Lee Ielpi, president of the WTC Tribute Center dicusses the response and recovery at ground zero with New York Army National Guard Maj. Gen. Steven Wickstrom May 18 during a guided tour of the WTC Tribute Center and Memorial site in honor of the New York National Guard's response and recovery efforts after 9/11. Wickstrom is the commander of the National Guard's 42nd Infantry Division, and Balfe the Deputy Division Commander. The 42nd Infantry was among the many New York National Guard elements to respond to ground zero in the days, weeks and months following the 9/11 attacks.
