SAN DIEGO (Oct. 15, 2019) Sailors assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) pose for a photo with the command triad following a shipmate of the month ceremony in the hospital’s galley Oct. 15. With input from NMCSD directorate’s chain of command, shipmate of the month honors Sailors who perform their duties exceptionally well. NMCSD’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services, and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research.
