Philippine Marine Sgt. Manuelito Eborde Jr. assembles a 105 mm Howitzer round during a bilateral artillery range as part of KAMANDAG 3 at Colonel Ernesto P. Eborde, a native of Cavite City, Philippines, is a verifier with 17th Marine Company, Field Artillery Battalion. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Mandirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnership between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
