Philippine, US Marines conduct a bilateral artillery range during KAMANDAG 3

Philippine Marine Sgt. Manuelito Eborde Jr. assembles a 105 mm Howitzer round during a bilateral artillery range as part of KAMANDAG 3 at Colonel Ernesto P. Ravina Air Base, Philippines, Oct. 15, 2019. The United States is proud to participate in this Philippine-led, bilateral exercise in order to develop capabilities across a wide range of military operations. Eborde, a native of Cavite City, Philippines, is a verifier with 17th Marine Company, Field Artillery Battalion. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Mandirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnership between the U.S. and Philippine militaries.
