Clayton Turner, director of the NASA Langley Research Center, gives a presentation about the center’s mission to Joint Base Langley-Eustis leadership and senate representatives at NASA’s LaRC in Hampton, Virginia, Oct. 9, 2019. Visitors toured one of NASA LaRC’s newest state-of-the-art facilities, the Flight Dynamic Research Facility, viewed the historic aircraft hangar where astronauts prepared for the first lunar expeditions, and met with researchers and developers form NASA’s City Environment for Range Testing of Autonomous Integrated Navigation or CERTAIN program. NASA marked its centennial in 2017. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Sarah Dowe)
