    SAN DIEGO (Sept. 27, 2019) The First Navy Jack is posted along with the flags of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and the state of Minnesota, during a retirement ceremony for Rear Adm. Mark Bipes, deputy commander, Navy Medicine West, and deputy director of the Navy's Medical Service Corps. Bipes, a native of Onamia, Minnesota, retired after 37 years of honorable service.
