Col. Patrick T. Birchfield, commander, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital, was a keynote speaker at the Clarksville Suicide Prevention Alliance Summit, Oct. 1 in Clarksville, Tennessee. He praised the opportunity to bring together so many skilled resources in one place for the purpose of collaboration for this important subject. The mission of the alliance is to reduce suicide in the Clarksville and Fort Campbell community through effective messaging, caregiver training, crisis intervention and data gathering and analysis.
