YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 10, 2019) The Valiant-class harbor tug Menominee (YT 807), assigned to Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), assists the non-self-propelled Barracks Ship USS Nueces (APL 40) into a dry-dock in preparation for Super Typhoon Hagibis. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, 27,000 military and civilian personnel and families.
