U.S. Marines with Marine Air Control Squadron 4 conduct a flight check on their Air Traffic Navigation, Integration and Coordination System in cooperation with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 in preparation for exercise KAMANDAG 3 at Subic Bay, Philippines, Oct. 8, 2019. The United States is proud to participate in this Philippine-led, bilateral exercise in order to develop capabilities across a wide range of military operations. KAMANDAG is an acronym for the Filipino phrase “Kaagapay Ng Mga Manirigma Ng Dagat,” which translates to “Cooperation of the Warriors of the Sea,” highlighting the partnership between the U.S., Philippine, and Japanese militaries.
