U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Dustin Asevedo, forward observer, with Fire Support Team (FST) A., 2nd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division (2d MarDiv), utilizes a Vector 21B rangefinder for a Fire Support Coordination Exercise (FSCEX) in conjunction with 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2d MarDiv during Integrated Training Exercise (ITX) 1-20 on Marine Air Ground Combat Center, Twenty-Nine Palms, California, Oct. 3, 2019. The FST Marines were coordinating a wide range of high caliber and explosive rounds from multiple sources on several communications systems to ensure their success on a modern battlefield.
