U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Austin Gardner and U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Dakoyta Gaines, agile communication support assigned to the 673d Communications Squadron, function check communication equipment during a training and readiness exercise, Polar Force 20-1, at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 3, 2019. Arctic Warriors assigned to JBER executed missions across the full spectrum of agile combat support during the first part of Exercise Polar Force 20-1. JBER is a weapon system, and the Arctic Warriors who put flesh on this weapon system proved they were able to deliver mission assurance and continuity of operations.
