Jerry Zuk reviews an inspection checklist after removing several tags from an F-117 engine at Joint Base Charleston – Air Base, S.C., May 3. Zuk, a retired Air Force crew chief, inspects the engine several times throughout the build-up process. Once the engine is inspected, tested and certified, it is installed on a C-17 Globemaster III. Zuk is a United Airlines F-117 engine inspector.
