Jerry Zuk uses a flashlight to illuminate specific areas of the core thrust reverser at Joint Base Charleston – Air Base, S.C., May 3, during the final inspection before it is presented to a Boeing inspector. Zuk served in the Air Force for seven years at Dover Air Force Base, Del., where he was a crew chief on a C-5 Galaxy. His current position as an inspector requires him to check every inch of the F-117 engine. Zuk is a United Airlines F-117 engine inspector.
