191004-N-GG858-1229 OKINAWA, Japan (Oct. 4, 2019) Sailors and members of the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force receive a tour of an MV-27 Osprey on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma as part of the Okinawa Bi-Lateral NCO Leadership Course. The course was hosted by Commander, Fleet Activities Okinawa (CFAO). Students attending were Sailors from the Okinawa area and members of the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force. The training was designed to increase understanding of pertinent leadership topics and to promote an exchange of ideas in order to enhance interoperability, mutual understanding and friendship. CFAO supports the full spectrum of Navy operations on Okinawa, and its major tenant commands are Commander Task Force 76, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 and Patrol and Reconnaissance Force 7th Fleet.
