A New Zealand Army soldier, deployed with Task Group Taji 9, gives feedback to a School of Infantry Noncommissioned Officer II (SINCO II) instructor during M16 marksmanship training, on the Taji Military Complex, Iraq, Sept. 24, 2019. Iraqi Army instructors from SINCO II conducted a M16 marksmanship live fire range and have increasingly taken the lead with training in recent months as the school moves forward with full operating capability in the late 2019. Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve and the Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population, support a normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of Daesh.
