The CV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft is used to conduct long-range infiltration, exfiltration and resupply for special operations forces around the globe. The CV-22 can take off vertically and, once airborne, the engines on each wing can rotate into a forward position, allowing it to fulfill the role of both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft.
