A memorial is displayed to honor U.S. Army Pfc. Ara Deysie, a gunner assigned to the 101st Airborne Division, 1st Battalion, 61st Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team. Deysie, who was raised in Parker, Ariz., was killed in action May 9, 2008, in Paktia province, Afghanistan. Combat Outpost Deysie is named in his honor.
