190928-N-DH811-1035 EAST CHINA SEA (Sept. 28, 2019) Seaman Dominic Reed, from Colorado Springs, Colo., dons a firefighting helmet during a damage control drill aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG 70). Lake Erie is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy's largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet's principal surface force.
