WATERS NEAR GUAM (Sept. 30, 2019) The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) frigate RSS Formidable (FFS 68) leads a formation followed by (left to right) Republic of Singapore Air Force S-70B helicopter from 123 squadron, RSN frigate RSS Intrepid (FFS 69), dry cargo ship USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE 6), littoral combat ship USS Gabrielle Giffords (LCS 10), MH-60S helicopter from HSC-23 Det. 6, and in the back guided-missile destroyer USS Momsen (DDG 92) during a photo exercise (PHOTOEX) in support of Exercise Pacific Griffin 2019. Pacific Griffin is a biennial exercise conducted in the waters near Guam aimed at enhancing combined proficiency at sea while strengthening relationships between the U.S. and Republic of Singapore navies.
