VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Sept. 25, 2019) Culinary Specialist 1st Class Sylvester Jones, from Lakeland, Florida, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) supply department, receives the "Bulldog" award from the Stennis Center for Public Service. The "Bulldog" award is given to a junior enlisted Sailor for demonstrating exceptional leadership skills over the past year. The Stennis Center for Public Service is a federal, legislative branch agency created by Congress in 1988 to promote and strengthen public service leadership in America.
