NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Sept. 26, 2019) Air Traffic Controller 3rd Class Fredrick Johnson, from Cleveland, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) air department, center, is recognized as the Warrior of the Week by Capt. John J. Cummings, Ford's commanding officer, left, and Command Master Chief De’Andre Beaufort, during an all hands call in the ships hangar bay. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
