Maj. Gen. Christopher Ghika, Deputy Commander of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, left, speaks with Anbar Police Training Center General Yasser I Musa, right, during his visit to Al Taqqadum Air Base, Iraq, Sept. 3, 2019. During Maj. Gen. Christopher Ghika’s visit, he observed the progress of renovations of a Royal Armed Forces graveyard, and the training of Iraqi police cadets. Over 220,000 Iraqis have received training from Coalition forces; this means thousands of police, border guards, soldiers and airman protecting their country. More importantly, Iraqi trainers are now taking over much of the training in a self-sustaining cycle.
