The 158th Fighter Wing here received it's first two F-35 Lightning IIs during an event at the Vermont Air National Guard Base, South Burlington, Vt., Sept. 19, 2019. The wing is the second operational F-35 unit in the Air Force, and the first in the Air National Guard to receive the fifth generation aircraft, with a total of 20 planned to be delivered over the following several months.
