Paratroopers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 319th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team provide artillery fire support for 1st Squadron, 73rd Calvary Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team and 1st Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade during a combined arms training exercise Sept. 25, 2019, on Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The combined arms live-fire exercise integrated air assaults with ground maneuvers, artillery fire, movements to contact, tactical tasks, Army attack aviation calls for fire, air movements, and casualty evacuations. The tasks were synchronized to validate individuals, teams, and platoon elements in the Global Response Force initiative to ensure the 82nd Airborne Division is ready to jump, fight, and win tonight.
