A team of two crews assigned to 1st Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade trains in a joint training exercise with 2nd Battalion, 319th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team and 1st Squadron, 73rd Calvary Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team Sept. 25, 2019, on Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The combined arms live-fire exercise integrated aerial mission command, air assaults with ground maneuvers, artillery attacks, movements to contact, tactical tasks, Army attack aviation calls for fire, air movements and casualty evacuations. The tasks were synchronized to validate individuals, teams, and platoon elements for the Global Response Force initiative to ensure the 82nd Airborne Division is ready to jump, fight, and win tonight.
