U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Edward D. Banta (right), commanding general, Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM), his Molly Banta, and Col. Raul Lianez, commanding officer, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), tour a construction site for base housing during their visit to MCBH, Sept. 26, 2019. The purpose of the tour was to assess the installation’s readiness capability first hand as the newest commanding general of MCICOM, as well as to discuss issues it faces.
