ARCTIC OCEAN (Sept. 25, 2019) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) transits the Arctic Ocean beside Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Normandy (CG 60) during a live-fire exercise Sept. 25, 2019. Normandy is operating in the Arctic in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
