Specialist Bret J. Nyquist, an intelligence analyst assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), 1st Theater Sustainment Command, earned the Iron Soldier award during Class 19-709 Basic Leader Course graduation ceremony at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Sept. 24, 2019. The Iron Soldier award is earned by the Soldier who scores the highest on the physical fitness test at the Basic Leader Course. U.S. Army Central hosts courses such as BLC to show a commitment to excellence which sustains the Army’s credibility. Nyquist scored a 330 on the extended scale.
