The battle colors of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 363 fly for the first time after the unit was officially activated as an MV-22B Osprey squadron during a change of command and re-designation ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, May 10, 2012. With the re-designation comes a transfer of the VMM-363 'Lucky Red Lions' headquarters from Marine Aircraft Group 24 at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, to Marine Aircraft Group 16 at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif.
