Lt. Col. Timothy Miller and Sgt. Maj. Mitchell Green, the commanding officer and sergeant major of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 363, uncase their unit's battle colors for the first time to officially activate the unit during a change of command and re-designation ceremony at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, May 10, 2012. Miller assumed command from Lt. Col. Mark Revor, who moments before cased the battle colors of Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 363 for the final time. The ceremony marked the squadron's transition to an MV-22B Osprey squadron. With the re-designation comes a transfer of the VMM-363 'Lucky Red Lions' headquarters from Marine Aircraft Group 24 at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, to Marine Aircraft Group 16 at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif.
