Vice Adm. Doug Crowder, commander of U.S. 7th Fleet, answers questions during a press availability for Malabar 07-2 aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). More than 20,000 personnel from five different countries are participating in Exercise Malabar 07-2. This multi-national exercise includes naval forces from India, Australia, Japan, Singapore and the United States. Kitty Hawk is more than three months into her summer deployment from Fleet Activities, Yokosuka, Japan.
