Sgt. Christa Damron, a healthcare specialist assigned to Company C, 4th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, passes through the arch of the Noncommissioned Officer during an NCO induction ceremony held at Prussman Chapel, April 27, 2012. The induction ceremony is a celebration of the newly promoted joining the ranks of a professional NCO corps that emphasizes and builds on the pride NCOs all share as members of such an elite corps. The significance of completing the time-honored ritual held a special meaning to some of the sergeants inducted during the ceremony. "This ceremony is passing on the tradition of welcoming new NCOs into the corps."
