The importance of the partnership between FORSCOM and MEDCOM units in enhancing the medical readiness of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment was highlighted during Lieutenant General Horoho’s visit. Lieutenant General Horoho is the first female and first Nurse Corps Officer to serve as surgeon general of any of the Armed Forces.
