Mr. Roberto Rubet, Logistic officer for U.S. Army South (center), prepares a transportation plan for the day with his Chilean counterpart Mayor Albino Rivas during Peacekeeping Operations-Americas 2012. More than 240 participants from 16 countries are in Santiago, Chile from April 30 to May 11, 2012 to participate the annual Peacekeeping Operations-Americas, focusing on the exchange of inter-regional peacekeeping tactics, battalion and company level training and the exchange of information between multi-national and joint forces. Countries invited to take part in this exercise include Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, El Salvador, Paraguay, Peru, the United States and Uruguay.
