More than 240 participants from 16 countries are in Santiago, Chile from April 30 to May 11, 2012 to participate in a Command Post Exercise scenario designed to challenge participants' abilities to implement and sustain United Nation Security Council peacekeeping standards, ensuring participants are better prepared to respond to future peacekeeping operational challenges. Countries invited to take part in this exercise include Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, El Salvador, Paraguay, Peru, the United States and Uruguay.
