Canadian Maj. George Johnston, G2 for Land Forces Atlantic Area, discusses the peacekeeping scenario with Chilean army Lt. Nicolas Zamora. More than 240 participants from 16 countries are in Santiago, Chile, from April 30 to May 11, 2012, to participate in a Command Post Exercise scenario designed to challenge participants abilities to implement and sustain United Nation Security Council peacekeeping standards, ensuring participants are better prepared to respond to future peacekeeping operational challenges. Countries invited to take part in this exercise include Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, El Salvador, Paraguay, Peru, the United States and Uruguay.
