Members of the Conference of the Central American Armed Forces from of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic, works on a training module during Peacekeeping Operations Americas 2012 on May 3, 2012, in Santiago, Chile. Peacekeeping Operations-Americas, is an annual multinational exercise designed to enhance regional dialogue among military forces from the Western Hemisphere, governmental, non-governmental agencies and inter-governmental organizations in order to implement and sustain United Nation Security Council peacekeeping standards, ensuring participants are better prepared to respond to future peacekeeping operational challenges.
