Peacekeeping Operations Americas 2012 participants take notes during the scenario briefing witch takes place at the start of each day on May 1, 2012. Peacekeeping Operations-Americas, is an annual multinational exercise designed to enhance regional dialogue among military forces from the Western Hemisphere, governmental, non-governmental agencies and inter-governmental organizations in order to implement and sustain United Nation Security Council peacekeeping standards, ensuring participants are better prepared to respond to future peacekeeping operational challenges.
