Lt. Col. Trevor Voelkel of 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment assists in giving backpacks out to local children in Mosul, Iraq, Sept. 10, 2019. Task Force Ninewah donated 500 backpacks to the Mosul Mayor’s office to distribute to children within the town. Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve and its Government of Iraq and Iraqi Security Forces partners remain united to defeat ISIS and achieve enduring regional security. The U.S. Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division are deployed from Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
