An MK76 fires aboard the guided missile frigate USS Underwood (FFG 36), April 27, 2012, at sea. Underwood was under way for a composite training unit exercise before deploying to Central and South America and the Caribbean for Southern Seas 2012. Southern Seas is a U.S. Southern Command-directed operation designed to strengthen relationships with regional partner nations and improve operational readiness for all assigned units.
