The CPO pinning ceremony, a ceremony where newly promoted CPOs have their new rank insignia pinned on their uniforms. The pinning ceremony is the culmination of an intense six-week training period where the Navy's senior enlisted leaders introduced the CPO selectees to a set of challenges designed to strengthen their leadership and mentoring abilities.
