Susan Hare, warrior and family support program specialist for Navy Region Southwest Reserve Component Command, tells the facilitators at Denver’s Returning Warrior Workshop that their job is to listen, to assess, and to refer, but it is not a weekend to “fix.” The approximately 25 facilitators and staff members who attended the pre-workshop meeting were preparing for the arrival of 135 sailors and guests, who have been separated by a long deployment in the war on terrorism.
