U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Britney Tardugno gives a speech after being named the Service Person of the Quarter during a luncheon at the New Bern Golf and Country Club, North Carolina, Sept. 12, 2019. Tardugno was nominated for the award by her chain-of-command because of her selflessness and dedication to serving the local community. She has volunteered more than 100 hours of her time to local and non-local organizations and is also a vital member to the Honor Guard team at Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, a tenant command at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point.
